The passing of the Alaska Native Language Council bill by the Alaska Legislature yesterday is already making the news. There is a mention in today's Anchorage Daily News and a much longer article by Matt Buxton in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. (It's not often that the FDNM scoops ADN on Native language and culture issues, but this is one such instance.)
