Troth Yeddha' in the news
Yesterday Troth Yeddha' was honored with the inaugural Troth Yeddha' Run for the Park 5k race. More than one hundred runners and walkers turned out to participate on a course which started and ended at the site of the planned Troth Yeddha' Park.
The park takes its name from the traditional Athabascan name for the ridge on which the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus is located. Earlier this year the University of Alaska Regents endorsed a proposal to give this (officially) unnamed ridge its original Native name.
